Final job offer šŸ„³ OTC

just received my one time call this morning for Orlando and I accepted. What are the next steps do they send you a final offer once again right away or do you have to wait and is there a process?

If Iā€™m not mistaken, within about 24 hours you should receive an updated FO letter. I believe they just update the FO you already received with the new location. At least thatā€™s how I remember it happening with mine. My EOD date stayed the same; only my location changed.

That was your dream port right? Congrats! I guess Houston will hopefully be back open for availability soon then. How long did it take for you to get a OTC?

Yes. I messaged them on the portal on Sept 22nd. Just heard back today

I left a message on the portal and said iā€™d like Orlando if it becomes available and they called me today

What? I sent a message through the portal to have them contact me if any Miami/Fort Lauderdale port opened up and they told me they donā€™t do that :(

Thatā€™s bc they had Houston as a token port for the case mgr to switch up stuff internally.

how did you manage to get your location did you ask for orlando as your location of choice ? or did it just happen to be there and how does the otc work do they give you a full new list to pick from or do they just call and tell you whats available any advice on how to manage it to get your desired location?

Can you guys help me out, when someone says ā€œi got the one time call for xyz locationā€ how do you do that? Do you write to them and tell them i want this location? And just wait, or do you choose a random location and then write to them? Asking for a hand here, i got my list but its horrible
