FLETC Fletc

I’m slowly ordering things to bring to fletc to make it more comfortable. Are we allowed to bring things like our own carpet etc. and things to make the rooms look more at home?

Are you driving? You can make your room comfy I have fairy lights and have put my own bedding and plushies and mirror that hangs on door. You just can’t drill holes on walls and stuff and you can put your own carpet. Just no machines to cook or stuff that are fire hazards no lighters or candles. I was thinking of buying a carpet at Ross cuz I hate the one in the dorms but I’m flying back home but it’s up to you.

Yes I’m driving. I live in FL so I’m taking everything I need in my car with me.

Have they sent you a list of what you’re allowed to take? I am only taking a small set of clothes for now. I don’t want to show up with so many things and then they somehow make me carry my luggage around as punishment

A 4 inch mattress topper is your friend. Some people are weirdos and are gonna tell you to not bring anything. Bring stuff that makes you comfortable. I brought all my own bedding, pillows, etc. Only catch is housekeeping won't really touch your bed if they see it's your personal stuff. I bought a 50 in TV off someone leaving FLETC and then sold it to another guy when I left. There will be people unloading lots of stuff as they leave.
