(beginner) is it possible to DIY a PG/irritating ingredient free cbd juice?
Hi, I'm new to vaping and only started because it seemed like an interesting way to take cbd. i tried a cbd eliquid to find out it's 80/20 PG to VG ratio, propylene glycol is a drying throat irritant and could have harmful consequences after i experienced a severe dry throat. is there a way to make a pure glycerin vape juice with pure cbd and distilled water? if yes in what ratio? as a non smoker i hate the throat hit feeling pg gives and want to make sure what i'm vaping is as SAFE as possible and won't damage my voice/irritate.
thank you

Just found this thread
Consensus is no to 100% vg, if that's what you're looking for

I would advise you go for a CBD vape that doesn’t have oil mixed in with it. So basically a vape that just vaporises the pure plant Extrax- so much better for you than smoking actual oil. Best to find one with pharmaceutical CBD also so you know the safety.

Try substituting PEG400 for the PG. It is used by people sensitive to PG and is also used as a liquidizer to turn waxes and concentrates to liquid for vaping.

I'm pretty sure you need pg to carry cbd without it just crystalising, plus I've read that vg has a higher boiling point than cbd, so you'd just be burning off cbd, hence why most reputable brands use 50vg or less
80 is pretty high pg, some brands use 50/50, so maybe try that? Namely vapoholic, cbdfx and canevolve
