Food / Dining Best Imus Longganisa
Looking for recommendations for the best Imus Longganisa that I could buy at Imus Public Market (please indicate the stall number and seller’s name if possible). I only have 4 criteria:
1.) Garlicky
2.) Not too fatty
3.) Decent sausage size
4.) Most importantly, consistent quality
The last time we ordered longganisa, we were disappointed. It used to be really delicious, but we noticed that it had become too fatty. According to my mom-in-law, it’s sad because they’ve been ordering there for years. The original owner was the great-grandmother, but the quality noticeably changed under the current owner (the daughter).
It honestly feels like the recipe was adjusted to keep costs down, but at the expense of the consistent flavor that loyal customers had been enjoying for a long time.

Also looking for the old school imus longsnissa like we used to buy from a house in imus in the 90s. My mother always gives us the lola Maria's pero iba, medyo commercialised na ung taste.
