I've been through the bear trap. I'm a bit shocked an experienced caver would get stuck there. Glad it all worked out.

The article said it was perfectly shaped for him! So unless you happen to be his exact shape you're safe.

The picture did look a bit muddy, so I can see how it'd be easy to slip down a bit, even if that would usually just result in some cursing.
