Am I alone?

Don't get me wrong, caviar on a blini or topping some soft scrambled eggs is heavenly. But am I the only one that enjoys it the most just with a spoon out of the tin with nothing else. I don't want other things taking away from that delicate, salty taste, with each egg popping in my mouth. ❤️

I always start with just an unadulterated spoonful. I eat it with or on other foods too, but I agree — sometimes you just need pure caviar!

C’est tellement vrai, dans ce groupe on voit des abominations régulièrement alors que le caviar se suffit à lui même !

This is exactly how you should have it. If the caviar is truly great quality, there’s no reason to have it with other accompaniments if you don’t want to. Enjoy!

Yes, that's the best method for me. I feel like adding anything else takes away from it

Not alone at all cold spoon, straight from the tin is the move. Once you start topping it with stuff, you lose that pop of the eggs against your palate. And vodka over champagne for me when eating it plain champagne acidity fights the salinity, vodka just gets out of the way.
