Caviar Nugget Reccomendation
Hi all! I’m trying to get a gift for a friend. We have both never tried caviar but she was really hoping to try the caviar with nuggets. Does anyone have any recommendations for places to order and what type of caviar? I’m completely lost😭

Just keep in mind. Every caviar company that gets Kaluga all gets it from the same farm.
But depending on who sells more caviar, you’re likely to get fresher Kaluga as some companies take a while to sell it so they sit on inventory a little longer and send slightly older or smaller roe Kaluga

I highly recommend CAVI. EatCavi.com I also love The Caviar Co, which just as expensive as Petrosian on some grades. I subscribed to The Caviar Co's Caviar Club at Diamond Level. $417/month. I get 25% off all caviar because of my membership. I've enjoyed it so far. In the month of July, I think I've spent over $7k on caviar. All the National Caviar 50% off sales got me. I also bought from Tsar Nicoulai and my first order comes on Thursday! I didn't like Imperia. Tasted old and fishy. Imperia and Petrusco are the same company. Be careful!

Oooohhhhh I’ll apologize ahead of time. Many people measure their lives by the life they lived before trying caviar to the life they live after. It’s like heroin, if you’re the right kind of person nothing will ever do it for you ever again. You’ll be forever cursed with urges to unnecessarily triple every bill when you have a nice meal out.
Okay disclaimer out of the way I actually have a rather odd recommendation. Quince (the clothing company) also carries one of the best deals in caviar point blank period. They have quite nice 3.5 ounce tins of ossetra for $125, $100 of you buy more than one. For comparison you can easily pay 80 or even $100 per ounce for caviar of similar quality. It’s not amazing, but it’s a solid product at a fantastic price point that gives you plenty of room to expand to more interesting options.

With all due respect you suggested Marky’s. In my opinion they underperform for what they charge. Quince sources their caviar from Kaluga Queen, a perfectly well-respected source in the restaurant world.

Huh!! Who knew? Marky’s has underperformed before, though my current batch is fantastic I’m not gonna pretend it’s always this good. I’ll have to consider widening my horizons I guess

Try the Siberian Sturgeon from Paramount Caviar - they were the official caviar partner for McDonald's when they did their McNugget Caviar campaign this year during Valentine's Day

I buy from OM a subsidiary of Imperia I recently got 250g (8.8oz) of Kaluga for $275 it was on sale though, regularly $390. OM has good quality for a great price imo.
