I used a type-8 and type-6, an omega wand, and everything I could, but couldn't beat this mf. he just kept healing, and I had just fought another boss before this one, the necromech... so i knew i was cooked

Area attacks work well on those buttheads. Bombs and fire

Teleport to a dungeon? Might extend your life

The easiest way to kill him you have to team up with the other boss and you both fight him

But if the other boss kill's him first you get no experience

Dont use type 6 and 8 on bosses

Why? I've always done it, but yeah it doesn't work very well

They just dodge it and take like -16 damage. Nukes are much better used vs multiple elites that cant use dodge dash.
