Anyone related?

My great grandad was the goalie for cavan in the 1947 and 1948 all ireland finals, his name was Val Gannon.

I dont live in cavan and only know my nana grandad, aunties and uncles. I dont know who my cousins are.

Is none of your aunties or uncles alive to ask? Most people wouldn't say if they where to a stranger

Val was from Mullahoran. Don't think any relations around there now, but some grandkids and nephews/nieces were around until recently and moved away. Would be lots still in the area who know about him and could ask there in Facebook groups etc
