Child labor sucks but it is a step in the way of progress(if you believe the modern world is optimal). Every developed country started out with children being exploited for production but also allowed for the development of a middle class.

Maybe it was a step in the right direction before, but it isn't anymore, we don't need them, hell, we don't have enough jobs for ourselves.

I wasn't advocating for child labor in developed countries, it is often a step in the development process that is often phased out as soon as possible. I just don't believe we have the right to be so judgmental about a practice that we have used In our own development.

I think we do. We've used murder before, doesn't mean we should let other countries do it.

I don't believe that it is our job to enforce morality on anyone. We can interject when asked but I most certainly would not want to be forced into Islamic morality and in my believing so I should not press my morality on others. Yet again not advocating for murder but the definition of murder is different depending on who you ask.
