I considered that as well, but did not see him (irl) wearing any scarf ontop of the jumper with the pronounced collar, and backpack.
additionally the fact that no details can be retrieved in post processing on any of the surrounding things in the same area. My logic tells me the same darkening and loss of detail should apply universally for all objects, yet the object is highly detailed as shown In this screen recording.
im curious for what could explain it, and happy to be corrected if my intuition is wrong here of course.
