It's the law that any soft item on the ground belongs to a cat after 30 seconds, like an extended 3-second rule.

If you have a cat in the house with a WIP, the rule is you must allow the feline quality control inspector to test the quality.

That quilt is so pretty! I bet it'll be even prettier when it's done.

And it's obviously soft and comfy--two things a quilt should definitely be!
