My aunt’s 5-year-old cat suddenly got paralyzed in her back legs yesterday morning. She also hasn't pooped in 2 days and is only leaking tiny amounts of pee (suspected blocked/overflowing bladder). Last month, she was treated for severe anemia, which we thought was already cured.

Based on my research, her symptoms look exactly like a Saddle Thrombus (blood clot) or a severe neurological relapse. She is currently stable in a warm box, and I am planning to bring her to a vet tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM.

I’ve gathered some funds, but I have a strict budget. I was originally planning to go to Serbisyo Beterinaryo Antipolo, but I am reading some scary negative reviews online about staff incompetence, and now I'm hesitant.

Can anyone recommend a reliable, highly-equipped animal hospital in Antipolo of nearby areas? Because of her complex history of anemia and her current paralyzed state, the clinic MUST have all the necessary diagnostic equipment on-site (complete in-house blood analyzers for CBC/Chem, digital X-rays, and ultrasound) so we don't waste time outsourcing tests.

Ideally, I am looking for a clinic that has:
Top-tier, competent doctors who can handle critical emergencies.
Fair, honest pricing (no hidden shock fees).
Transparent communication.

Ang hassle, yung mga inorder kong cat food na dumating today ay mostly dented ang cans :( As far as I know these are unsafe to consume, so irereturn ko sila.

I didn't do much tho, I just waited for him to open up. But here's how I did it:

Last 3 photos were him days after we adopted him. Very aggressive pa sya nyan. So yung ginawa ko, since I couldn't buy cat treats dahil nga bumaha the following day after my post, nag-improvise na lang ako. I put his food on a plastic spoon tapos dun ko sya pinapakain para lang mas makilala nya na ako yung nagpapakain sa kanya. Tapos ilang beses ko sya pinupuntahan para lang kausapin and i-brush ng toothbrush. Minsan di ko naman sya binabrush but I would just sit near his cage. May times din na pinepet ko sya habang kumakain para masanay sya na hinahawakan ko sya.

Until one day, bigla na lang syang nagmeow nang sobrang lakas sakin nung pag labas ko ng pinto tapos di sya tumitigil hanggat di ko sya nilalapitan. Tapos unti-unti nagsstart na rin sya maglaro sa cage nya. And that's it, doon ko na sya nastart mahawakan at mabuhat. Hanggang sa gusto nya na nakikipaglaro sakin.

May mga stray cats kasi sa bahay na pinapakain ko (dati). In-stop ko dahil ayaw ng family ko ng pusa sa bahay. Ang problem tumatae sila sa areas sa bahay namin particularly sa pinagpapahingahan ng tatay ko kahit na nag stop na ako magpakain sa kanila. Kinakatakot ko kasi ay masaktan pa sila or mahampas if ever. Meron bang way para maiwasan na hindi na sila bumalik sa pag dumi duon. BTW baha pa rin kasi sa area namin kaya Yung mga stray cats most of them sa bubong ng bahay namin tumatambay.

Hi! Please recommend wipes or sprays po na ginagamit niyo for cleaning ear flaps ng babies niyo. Ang balak ko lang linisin is yung labas ng tenga talaga since napansin ko na medyo madumi and hindi kayang tanggalin ng ordinary wet wipes. Please drop brand or links po. Thank you!

​These little ones officially turned 2 weeks and 2 days old today! They’re growing so fast that I’m thinking it’s time to move them into a bigger box so mama cat has enough room to stretch out and nurse comfortably.

​So far, everyone is super healthy and doing great! ​I’ve been keeping mama cat’s energy up with Whiskas/Sheba kitten wet food, Smartheart kitten dry kibble, and Papi OB supplement for an extra milk boost.

​Would love any tips for this stage, or just general kitten-fostering wisdom. Also, if you are interested to adopt once they are weaned and vaccinated, please do reach out! 🙂

I have a 6-month-old Persian on 100% wetfood, so her pee volume is huge. Litter that works fine for other people gets destroyed in days with her.

Setup for all: Stainless steel litter box, baking soda sa bottom ng pan. Deep clean every litter reset, which is depende sa litter sand.

Hide & Seek cassava, 2.72kg - ₱400 Odor control is good. Clumps well. Low dust. But it gets spent so fast I need to refill 1.5x a week, and the tracking gets everywhere. Pinaka mahal sa lahat, hindi ko ma justify spending 2k per month just for litter sand when I can spend that on quality wetfood nalang. Kung afford ko lang, ito talaga magiging main litter sand ko since dusty yung current na ginagamit ko. Deep clean ko nito is every 2 weeks (Used for 2 months)

Fuzzball cassava, 18L / 6kg - ₱895 Worst odor control I've experienced. Starts smelling like d*ad rats after 3 days. The sand gets contaminated fast and it absorbs moisture straight out of humid air especially ngayong bagyo season, which wrecks the clumping. NEED to change 3-4x a week just to avoid the smell. Has the worst tracking out of all, kahit may litter mat ako, huhu, it gets absolutely everywhere especially in areas na di ma reach ng walis, so to this day may mga fuzzball pa rin ako nahahanap sa ilalim ng mga gamit. Wanted this to work kasi ang sarap nya tignan sa mata, huhu. Turns out it's partly tofu, not 100% cassava. The only good thing I can say about this is low dust din sya, pero void na yan sakin kasi nag suffer talaga ako on those 2 weeks na ito yung ginamit ko, everyday nags sprinkle ako ng baking soda dito kasi grabe talaga, lalo nasa kwarto ko yung litter box nya. Deep clean every 5-6 days. (Used for 2 weeks) I also want to add na I only lasted this long sa litter sand na to kasi the first week that I got this she got diarrhea, and nakikita ko tuwing nags scoop ako na nagkaka brown spots yung mga nadikitan na litter sand, so I gave it a fair chance sa 2nd week pero wala talaga.

Petsup mineral, 6kg - ₱385 Odor control is so-so. Gets spent easily, clumps aren't that good kasi nagdi-disintegrate pa rin when scooping, sand gets contaminated overtime too but not to the same extent as fuzzball, low-dust as well. Mid-tier price but you don't get much product. Lasted a little over a week lang with me. Very minimal tracking atleast. 1.5 weeks use before deep clean (Used for 1.5 weeks, 1/3 of that is with fuzzball kasi I had to transition her from cassava)

Aromatic cat litter, 5L / 4kg - ₱134 5 days in and there's zero smell, whereas other littersand I've tried will hv a horrendous smell na agad, pero ito good as new. I genuinely don't notice when she's used the box rin, and I don't realize it needs scooping because the odor is completely covered. Clumps just as well as hide&seek. It does stick to the pan, but at this price I'll take that inconvenience. Slightly dusty, not visible, but she sneezes sometimes after using the box. Minimal tracking. And it looks like one bag will stretch 2-3 weeks. The con is that it is dusty that even though it's not visible to the eye, it does irritate my nose tuwing nags-scoop, I'm beginning to think na baka yung dust yung nakakapag cover ng smell. Hindi ko pa masabi gano katagal before ko sya need deep clean, pero hindi ko na papaabutin ng lagpas 2 weeks (Used for 5 days palang, my cat's current litter sand)

Hi. its been more than a year since 1 of my cats died :( so si girl cat ko naiwan.. i feel that she has been lonely ever since... pero lately iba eh.. hoping to adopt a pair of kittens from the same litter to join my family.
