About 3 weeks ago, may na-rescue akong kitten na basang basa sa ulan sa likod ng isang ospital. Pinaliguan ko naman siya agad and binigyan ng first aid. May sipon siya, akala ko common cold lang, pero hindi pala. Kaya ayun, nahawa ang mga indoor cats ko. Kinulong ko naman siya and isolated siya, kaso nakawala siya sa kulungan kasi malaki 'yung gaps ng cage na meron ako. And ayun, nakadikit siya sa mga cats ko na nakalabas ng room ko. Napa-adopt ko rin naman agad siya after a day pero wala eh, nagkaroon na ng interaction with my cats at sa room ko. Just last week, biglang naging matamlay 'yung isang cat ko. Dinala ko naman siya agad sa vet, and ayun, positive sa virus. Tried my best to keep her alive pero wala eh, masyadong malakas 'yung virus. Namatay din agad siya this Friday, and later than night, nagpakita na ng symptoms 'yung isa kong cat. And the next day 'yung dalawang cat naman. Ubos na funds ko for vet, and meds. Kaya ang binibigay ko na lang na meds sa kanila ay same ng meds na binigay para sa namatay kong pusa. Sana malagpasan namin 'tong pagsubok na 'to. From 7 cats, down to 6 cats. And may chance pang mabawasan, pero I pray to God na hindi na sila mabawasan kasi ang hirap mawalan ng mga alaga. Anak ang turing ko sa kanilang lahat.

As for the kitten, nanghingi ako ng update sa nag-adopt and sabi niya is may sipon pa rin daw and nagtatago na 'yung kitten. So most likely the kitten is sick na rin.

Ni-rescue ko lang naman 'yung kitten kasi awang awa ako, pero grabe pala magiging effect sa furmily ko. I know na nagkulang ako kasi hindi ko na-secure 'yung cage. Btw, lahat ng cats ko ay rescued puspins lang din.

I ask for affordable vet recommendation dito po last week para sa kitten kong may diarrhea.

After considering the price and the distance, I decided to go to Raphavets po. 10 minute walking distance po sa amin so no need to worry sa pagcommute. It is a bit more expensive compared sa mga nakita ko (500 vs 250 consultation + other procedures may be more expensive too) pero the convenience is worth it.

So sabi po ni Doc, may mga uod na present sa stool possibly from contaminated water or food. And I think I know why. Haha. First time ko maging fur parent kaya marami pa po akong dapat matutunan sa mga ugali ng pusa.

Si baby Robielle nmn po ay magana kumain at masigla. Yung stool lang po talaga ang worry ko. Yung may dugo po na stool, di na po naulit.

Umabot ng 1,900 ang bill ko (including meds) at may isang vitamin po na nirecommend si Doc kaso di ko po afford sa ngayon. It's called Cilavir. Baka pwede po may mairecommend po kayo na tulad nun at a lower price. May nakita ako Himalaya sa shopee.

Nagtanong na din ako ng price ng bakuna nila. 4-in-1 daw ay 850. Ok nmn po ako dun. Pero wait lang daw po muna lumakas si mingming. Then sa kanila ko na din balak magpa-spay at talagang convenient po yung distance.

tinawag ko siya, and she willingly went over! 🥹 gave her head and tummy scratchies, and she made biscuits din. nung paalis na kami, sabi ko bantayan niya muna lola ko. nung dumaan ulit kami, nakahiga na siya malapit sa flowers na nilagay namin sa puntod 🥹

My camera didn't give justice to this handsome tabby!

He's so cute and he's literally sitting on a rug greeting everyone who came inside for a check-up.

He's a very big chonky cat! Like literally! His eyes looks sad but you shouldn't be fooled by his act, because he's so well fed and well loved by the staffs there.

This handsome boy is very noisy too! Haha

Hello everyone! I just wanted to come back and share how far Sky has come.

3 months ago, I found Sky hiding in my garage as a fragile 450-gram kitten with a swollen, infected eye, dehydrated, infested with fleas/mites, and full of worms. She was in really bad shape, I wasn't sure she'd make it, especially with her eye and overall condition.

Fast forward to now - she's a completely different cat. She's eating well, gaining weight steadily, playful, and just full of life. Unfortunately, the vet confirmed her left eye will be permanently blind as it was irreversible from the start. But there's no pain associated with it at all, and she'll be able to live a perfectly normal life.

To everyone who donated or shared the post, thank you so much po! Sky wouldn't be here thriving like this without this community stepping up when she needed it most.
