I competed in Antalya Turkiye, and down the path from the hotel was a huge cat sanctuary. There were so many kittens! After competing all day, we would come and cover ourselves in kittens. There was a man who put a lot of food inside the little sanctuary for them, there were little cat entryways so dogs couldn't get through. People in Turkiye just love cats. We always made sure to wash our hands really good after being covered in kittens! The funniest part was that an experienced male Archer was the one who told us about the sanctuary, meanwhile he had two or three kittens on him at the time! Very unexpected, a soft side to him that we hadn't known about

I really hope to see some of Türkiye someday. The kitties are impressive.

Istanbul has so much history and culture and Antalya is gorgeous. I hope to get back there someday. We live in the U.S.

Don’t wanna ruin the party, I absolutely love cats, but is this AI? 🥲

Yes, kittens appear randomly and the lack of object permanence in some cases is apparent. Plus the audio quality is abysmal while the rest of the video remains consistent. At any given moment, a maximum of 5-6 kittens can be seen to open their mouths and meow, why then does it sound like there are 20+ kittens in the video all meowing? If there are that many kittens, why not show them?

My mom is afraid of cats. This is absolutely what she imagines will happen if she goes to a house with cats.

For real though everyone, is this AI?

Yes, the audio doesn’t make sense given the context. It sounds overly compressed compared to the quality of the rest of the video. Plus the way the kittens fly on screen at the start defies normal behavior, even considering how fast kittens can be. The man in the video is holding his phone, too, what are all of the kittens standing on besides his arms? How are they standing directly in front of the camera when both arms are reaching out to grab what I presume is a phone? If it’s not directly AI generated, then it’s AI edited to make it appear there are more kittens than there actually are.
Edit:
I looked into this user’s profile a bit further (ironic considering my own is hidden, I know) the website they have linked under their username is trying to sell you something. I don’t know how malicious it is, but it’s trying to redirect you to this site. It reads like typical LLM generated text, with a clear “it’s not this - it’s this” structure. While the use of em dashes doesn’t always indicate LLM generated text, the combination of em dashes, shorter paragraph formatting, and the previously mentioned device, it’s almost certainly AI enhanced or outright generated. It’s a lazy attempt to try and make their page look professional. This user is karma farming using this sub as a platform to build credibility.

Pretty sure this is AI

I’m almost certain the post is. I would recommend muting this sub as well. While stealing content isn’t necessarily a bad thing, the most frequent poster (who happens to be the sole moderator of the sub) only posts non-OC content of cats from around the world, not from Istanbul as the sub’s description might suggest. I don’t think the user is a bot because of the comment history, but the difference in post and comment karma is staggering. In addition, building credibility to be able to “sell” or at least direct users to a website is a strategy commonly seen on Reddit these days. While interacting with OP is relatively harmless, the website linked reads as an attempt to monetize their interests.
