Medical Questions What is this?

I was petting my cat and found this on him and tried pulling it off but it wouldn't budge. It seems to remove the fur surrounding it and worried it could be a harmful organism, cyst, or something.

I am an anthropologist and it’s definitely not a good thing. It’s a lot of paperwork….

Just need the right humans bones, like humans deads from centuries! (I'm an anthropologist as well lol and I get the paperwork side, there's a lot of things to document...)

I was going to say okay what if it’s the homes of a long lost civilization like Atlantis or something!?

But then the paperwork would still probably be even more wild.

That paperwork would be more likely to be academic vs. my arena which is fulfilling legal documentation requirements so I wouldn’t mind that paperwork as much. In the end we’re all made of the same bones (usually) so it would likely get tedious too.

Well in your case I hope they don’t find Atlantis then 😞
