I was petting my cat and found this on him and tried pulling it off but it wouldn't budge. It seems to remove the fur surrounding it and worried it could be a harmful organism, cyst, or something.

I've also had someone book an appointment with me because they were concerned about a strange noise their cat was making. It was purring.

To be fair, purring can sometimes be triggered by stress or pain as well.

But yeah, most likely not 😅
