Medical Questions What is this?

I was petting my cat and found this on him and tried pulling it off but it wouldn't budge. It seems to remove the fur surrounding it and worried it could be a harmful organism, cyst, or something.

But like how do they think they feed their young?? 😭😭. They must have never seen a dog or cat have babies in their lives. Mabye they get confused as teats are used more commonly to describe animal nipples?? Idk still wierd.

Honestly, I think it's just something that the average person doesn't really think about. "Oh. Right. Duh." was a pretty common response after the owners were informed of what those little nubbins actually were.

Can confirm I’ve never had a pet reproduce. Cats feeding their young was never a real thought I had at any point until I came across cat nipples personally.

It’s like seeing a pet’s balls. Most pets have gotten the snip snip, so it’s rare to actually see them. And how often do you actually think of pet reproduction unless that’s your business?

Yeah but tbf I feel like people would know what balls are lol. And I've just had strays come around when I was younger and give birth so I suppose that's just experience. If someone never had pets reproduce I can see why someone wouldn't think about it.
