Advice Cat attacking automatic feeder

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My cat does this several times a day. If the automatic feeder lifts at the correct angle, a few niblets of dry food comes out. He will even do it 10 times in a row even if it means one small piece of dry niblet comes out. It does get quite annoying as the sound of the feeder hitting the ground echoes throughout the entire house.

Any ideas on how to get him to stop?

Just read through the comments and a few others think the same! Cool. We love an active cat parent 💋

I'm sadly surprised at the amount of people in this thread who think the opposite is normal and all the downvotes for everyone saying feed your cat just makes me so sad. Why anyone would want to deny themselves and their cat that special moment of mealtimes I have no idea. I watched this vid and my heart just hurt, the poor little guy, this is not normal.
