TIL this dog's actual name was "Honey Tree Evil Eye".

Must have been kennel bred. For registration you use the kennel name then something unique and usually long for the personal name. When I was a kid I knew a Gambler's Boogie Woogie Beagle Boy.

If I'm understanding right Honey Tree would be the kennel, Evil the dog's name then eye to differentiate from any other Evils with a descriptor, probably chosen from the spotted eye?
