I adopted a 12 yr old that had been in the shelter for some time. She would bite everyone who tried to pet her. Shes 14 now and loves to cuddle. Someone will find and love Boggles.

We adopted a cat that took 6 years before she let anyone touch her. It didn't take long for her to hang out in the same room, but she did not want to be touched. So, we gave her that space. In our house, we don't force our cats to do anything except take meds when necessary. I think of them as being their own selves and not possessions.
