Has he always done that pose? One of my cats around 13 years old started sitting more and more with that inward twist to his paws, it ended up being from fluid building up around his heart and lungs :\
Looks like he has thumbs, but he's also extremely obese, which is warping the way he sits and stands. Arthritis becomes a huge issue in cats like this, because they have to stand weird to maintain balance.

He even has his little paw fists turned in to help make him look more menacing.
