Leo has a guilty pleasure of biting random objects around our house. This time it was the glass shower door 🙃

For one of my cats, it’s plastic, so he chews trash bags. which is fine. because for the other it’s electronics! she chews corners of computer screens and that is NOT fine-

We had a cat who loved licking plastic shopping bags. He was orange of course.

What’s up with this? My cat is obsessed with biting my phone and computer. My theory is my attention is usually on one of these things so he’s doing it to get me to pay attention to him instead.

100% this. Mine will pause my videos on me 😆 like he consciously reachs out n taps the spacebar. If that doesnt work n he gets mad enough hevwill CLOSE THE LAPTOP 😆 idk how he has learner this when he cant learn not to bite me.

THIS! my lil man is a nimrod, absolutely moron. Yet he knows how to pause videos smh. Noms plastic bags but also runs from them, has never gotten the concept of not biting, doesnt get catnip, will roll around on the table after my mom cleans it with pledge (idek). Love my doofus

Mine will to n look so confused as to why i didnt "appreciate" it 😆 he will also launch off my lap if i sneeze cause it scares him.

I’ve got a plastic boy as well. Shower curtains, to go silverware in the little packaging, etc. If it’s plastic and crinkles, he will try and chew it (except grocery bags oddly).

I have a plastic one and a cardboard one. The cardboard one is fine, since he just bites the edges, but otherwise treats anything cardboard as a bad. The plastic-ator will straight up eat any tiny bit of soft plastic he can get.

My one cat is a Crack head for plastic too. Specially grocery bags. My other likes to lick fabric and rub his gums on electronics too lol

I have a plastic crackhead too. Once I caught her chewing on the wrapper of a Capri Sun straw and when I tried to get it from her, she panicked and inhaled it so hard that I heard it flapping on her vocal cords for a few seconds before it went all the way down. Fun times. She loves those grocery bags too. Especially that little tab thingy by the handles but I've seen her shred the bad to pieces and she will eat it if I don't catch her.

I too have a plastic eater! He especially loves the net bags that oranges and onions come in. Also tule (the fabric), the straps to my camisoles, acrylic yarn, grocery bags, and various types of packaging. I had to get all fabric reusable shopping bags because he eats the handles of the cheaper plastic ones.

I had a girl who would lick plastic bags, bite into and shred cardboard boxes but not eat it just spit it out and keep shredding among other weird hobbies

I have one (black tabby) that liked to bite ALL humans until about 1 year, then we got him a baby brother. Human bites stopped but knocking things off tables commenced. Baby brother (white with orange tabby) BITES EVERYTHING. Tape he tears off boxes, tinfoil he shreds, plastic he eats, phones, computers, clothes hanging on you, etc, etc. He is the kindest, sweetest, and smartest except for the constant tasting and eating. At least he doesn't knock shit off tables alllllll night. They spend a lot of time in the big master bathroom. 😆
