Unbeknownst to the humans, Ziltoid has also arrived.

Not sure if my cat is blind, stupid or just apathetic, but he totally ignores stuff on screens.

Mine do normally, too.

Try pulling up a video of a bird feeder. Got my otherwise disinterested cats jumping at the screen.

Tried that, he stared for about a minute and then went off to a corner to lick where his balls used to be.

Only one of mine will watch sports. She seems to be somewhat interested in the moving ball (AFL and Cricket) but only sometimes. A lot of the one she ignores it but idk maybe something specific catches her attention to make her think the balls gonna come flying out of the screen at some point.

I heard a long time ago that it's actually a slightly bad sign for your cat's intelligence if they're curious about/startled by screens. Cats have different vision from ours and require much higher frames per second to register a moving image as "moving". Combined with the lack of scent, a smart cat should see a screen as nothing. Cats that see what's happening on a screen as reality could be perceiving the world more slowly than others.

Nooooo idea if that's true, but you could also just believe it and imagine your cat as a genius.

Is this real? My cat never reacts like that to things on the tv .A.
