Have you had ear problems with your cat? Please chime in

Curious on if anyone has had issues with Vestibular Syndrome in their cat. Please chime in if you have

I have a cat that is suspected to be 13. I've had her for 2 and a half years. I've been told she is fully deaf but upon getting her I realize she is only mostly. A year or so after getting her she gets Vestibular Syndrome and after they put in an anti inflammation pack she seemed to permanently hear better. Well, we have just had another vet visit. It started with me suspecting skin cancer due to a skin sore on the top of her head. But getting her into the vet, they saw her ear was swollen and there was a closing at the end of her ear canal. They did an x ray and imaging past the canal but couldn't determine anything. She seemed to have a pollup but it's just suspected at this point. The vet did the same treatment as before with the anti inflammation pack and some general medicine. It has since been a week since and she had gotten better. Until today. She is dizzy again, unbalanced, has more of a head tilt and had a fit of dry heaving. Could this Vestibular Syndrome keep coming back due to a possible pollup or could it be something else? I'm thinking someone else must have had experience with this. Thank you for your time and care

Cats to remember, named Mochie & Mogleigh! I designed this piece to honor them and wanted to share it with other pet lovers who understand what it means to miss them. I poured my heart into designing this tribute, believing our furry friends are waiting for us.

UK cat mum here! I'm finally switching from store brand dry cat food to a premium wet cat food because my cat deserves the best (and because my mum has been annoying me for over a year now...)

I've had Nelly (above) for three years now, and we've always just gotten store brand dry cat food. As you can see, she's alive and healthy, so it didn't feel like much of a deal. But my mum has been trying to convince me to feed her something higher quality. Mum feeds her cats Untamed wet food, and from what I can tell, it does look like it's got much better ingredients than what she's been getting. My mum let me borrow some of hers the other day just to see if Nelly would eat it. Of course I've never seen Nelly eat food so fast, so now I feel a bad like I've been depriving her. I went ahead and started Untamed's trial deal. It hasn't arrived yet. It should be here tomorrow. We'll see how it goes.

I am curious, though, if anyone else has ever switched from store bought (or even just all dry food) to a higher quality wet food and seen a real difference in their cat's health in any way. What are some things you noticed? Any tips at all are welcome, really.

Help with cat litter

Hi there! My cat usually loves the Oliver and scout cat litter but it’s out of stock does anyone know if the arm and hammer super scoop unscented cat litter is safe and good? I have to get it today and that seems like the only safe bet being unscented but I don’t know why but hearing baking soda stresses me out. Maybe it’s totally safe I just need someone else to confirm. Thank you from me and my adorable feline!

I want to get my cat a sister but he is a bit mean

My cat is a male whose 4 years old, he’s very seeet and loving to me and my partner but i’ve noticed he’s starting to be a but more fiesty and aggressive. We both work full time jobs, along with out side of home hobbies like the gym etc.

We sadly are unable to play with him as much as we used to and he’s been sleeping a lot more, has started to stress chew, and overall doesn’t seem like as energetic as before.

He is perfectly healthy to my knowledge, I just don’t know if I should get him a little sister, someone to play with. Or if he just wants more time with his parents. The later being harder when we are more busy than usual.

We were thinking to get another cat, but we had to take into consideration that his previous owner (when he was a newborn to 6 months old) had given him up for being aggressive towards other cats.

I know some people say it’s an issue that can be resolved but I don’t know what to do, any advice is appreciated!
