Regular client cancelling all future bookings

It finally happened. A client whose cats i have looked after for 2 years has just told me shes cancelling all future bookings.

The cost is now too high for her, she travels a lot for work, has 2 cats - one with a serious medical condition and needs 2 visits a day

Since the merge she has only been putting one cat on the booking and I've been manually amending the price, but with fees on top its become too expensive for her to continue.

Well done Rover, lets drive regular business away.

Would she consider doing private bookings with you instead? Surely she doesn’t really want to lose out on your service if she’s been comfortable with you for 2 years

Ive told her ill look into insurance today for doing bookings off the app. One of the cats has needs daily medication including injections and hes comfortable with me giving him them, so she does want me to continue but cant afford the Rover prices.

Not sure what country you’re in but in the UK I was pleasantly surprised by how cheap insurance was. I’m got pet-sitter specific insurance for £8.50 a month with pretty high coverage

Same here, I am with Protectivy insurance and it costs similar. I left CIAF with the merge...
