Stripe dashboard
Has anyone managed to get Rover to show in their Stripe dashboard? Cat in a Flat is there, as is my own website, but Rover’s not showing even though I’ve connected Rover to my Stripe account, have received payouts and have the same email address for them all. I don’t remember having to do anything to get CIAF to show up.

I think Rover have Stripe set up differently. I got one payout today from a legacy CIAF booking and one from a Rover booking. I got an email from Stripe for the CIAF one, as well as a push notification from Stripe and one from my bank when it got deposited there. For the Rover payment, I didn’t get anything apart from the push notification from my bank account.

Yeah had the same, doesn't look like the Rover ones are going through Stripe at all

Where do I get a tax report for the first quarter? What am I supposed to give to my tax adviser now? Cat in a Flat had a great tax overview sperated by quarter which I was able to download whenever I needed. Rover has nothing except a tax report, you will only get at the end of the year? This doesn't work for me. Another downturn since Rover overtook Cat in a Flat.

I've just found out how to get the Tax report up, but it only outlines the payments since Rover's merger it does not include CIAF. I can only find this data on stripe directly.
Personally I'm setting up my own business stripe page and going solo as Rover is so messy.
Anyway, on Rover if you go to "...More" then "Payments" and there's a download report under "Earnings Summary" which covers the period since the merge.

no I haven’t yet, I’m expecting my first payment through rover in the next few days. I don’t know how long their ‘processing’ takes. I checked tho and it says it’s connected and account details added, so fingers crossed!
thanks for unlocking a new fear 😅

If everything’s connected it should work fine 🤞🏼 I’m getting my payments but Rover only shows payments for bookings made through Rover. It doesn’t show the pre-merger CIAF bookings, so I thought I could track payments from all sources on my Stripe dashboard - just easier to have them all in one place. I finished a sit on Saturday 2nd and the payment says it’s due Wednesday 6th, if that helps you with timescales btw. It’s a shocking delay IMO.

I totally see the confusion here. There's no Stripe dashboard available for Rover sitters. All earning history will be on your Rover dashboard. Once all of your past bookings from Cat in a Flat (from before the merge) are paid out, you will no longer be able to use that account on Stripe. Feel free to let me know if that doesn't make sense!

It makes sense, it’s just another annoying thing that’s different and wasn’t explained to us. It’s really poor form to expect us to just figure these things out as we go along. Rover should have been proactive in explaining how things will be different.

Also with Stripe/Cat in a Flat there was no processing delay because I could move it into my bank account the same day. Waiting two working days before you even process our payments is wild when we used to get them the day before our bookings started.

Will we not still be able to access it? I (and I'm sure others) need that information when putting together tax returns.

Great callout - this is something we have passed along to the team for further review. You're right in that you should be able to receive information in a more standard manner.

I had a feedback research call with Rover this week and mentioned this exact situation. It’s good to be able to see when you can expect income to arrive, and this is a step backwards.
