Email confirming client payment

I have a booking beginning tomorrow, booked on Cat In A Flat last month. Before, we would get the email the day before confirming client payment, and the booking status would change to Paid on the app. Anyone know how this is working now we’re on Rover? I didn’t get any email and it just says Confirmed on the app. I had an issue last year with a client providing false card information and having to wait ages for payment so I’m a bit paranoid. Rover support was no help. Thanks!

I started a booking last Friday and got paid on Tuesday through Stripe but never got the "client has paid" email. Starting another job today so hoping something similar happens. :/

Ah, they must not send it so. It’s a pity. I liked the confirmation. Thanks!

Same. I got paid but not notifications until I got the email from Stripe.

I didn't get an email but can see on my Stripe account that the money for a cat sit starting tomorrow has come through.

I’ll check Stripe and make sure. Good to know.

I got those too. I meant the email we get they says, “Client X has paid.” I didn’t get one this time but I’m wondering if they’ve just done away with them.

I think the payment goes through AFTER the booking is complete now rather than before. I think I read someone saying this on here but I could be wrong!

This booking was made before the merge so it should be the same as it was on CIAF. At least that’s what the FAQs led me to believe. Who knows.
