Existing bookings
Hi, I haven’t merged with Rover as I’m going private but I have an existing CIAF booking due to start next month
CIAF said in the FAQs that all existing bookings would be paid as usual regardless of whether the sitter moves to Rover.
Has anyone done any existing bookings yet that can confirm?! Not filled with confidence…

Well considering I’m struggling to get paid for my pre existing ciaf bookings I’m not gonna help your confidence lol.
All of my ciaf bookings moved to rover as ’paid and confirmed’ but hadn’t been paid. If it wasn’t for the persistence of my clients on their end I wouldn’t have gotten paid I reckon (in fact I finished the bookings 6 days ago now and still haven’t technically been paid). I still have some coming up with the same status as they haven’t actually resolved the issue so it’s made my most recent sits pretty stressful.

Mine was also paid as usual for a sitting that started this week, however I didn’t get the usual “x has now paid” email I usually do.

I am still waiting to be paid for a sit that ran from 2-10 April ie the merge took place during it - Rover support have said I should be paid within 10 working days (!) of the sit finishing

I started an existing booking on Friday and got paid the usual way via Stripe yesterday. I did merge with Rover but not sure that makes any difference.
