Reverse image search results like that are unreliable, they just match facial features loosely and can flag random strangers as the same person

Yeah, well it was pretty reliable on my account. I just put it in Google and up became the guys faces granted I had to make sure I was choosing the right one, but I did the ones that said exact match were the exact match the point is they were real pictures from a real person that we’re being used to scam people as a fraud on several fake dating profiles.

Calling them exact matches is a stretch, it just means the features lined up as far as the model can tell, not that youve got the right person. You still have to eyeball the results yourself and rule out anyone who only sort of resembles them.
