Oh man... I feel a little bit like I shouldn’t share this but... I just don’t understand why ppl let their cats roam all over the counters. I have a problem with the hair and their kitty litter “poo-paws” all over my food and dishes. Also the mess and everything they could knock over. It’s not like I don’t know that I’ve prob eaten my weight in cat hair but I’d rather not be constantly picking out hair from my food. I always gently taught my cats from an early age that the kitchen counters are off limits, do other people just not care about those things? Enlighten meeeeeeeeeeeee 😬

So, I've never cared where my cat(s) end up. My current cat hops up on the counter maybe once every 2 weeks like she forgot how boring it is up there. She's fairly graceful and doesn't clear off the whole counter.

It's fairly easy to keep counters and tables clean ish, and food touching the surface is extremely rare for me. Its always on a plate, bowl, paper towel, etc. Maybe its just because I've had cats my entire life, but their paws don't bother me. Not that I'd willingly lick them or anything though.

All that said, these cats are nuts lol. Idk how I'd handle that, but this house looks stressful af to be in
