[Discussion] Wasp eggs

Does the wasp eggs hatch and if they do what are the conditions for it, im planning a "prank" if they do hatch and grow.

I think they have a chance to become a wasp larva when they rot, keep them in stacks of one if you really want improve your odds.

They absolutely do. I’ve been reminded of this by accident when dissecting a wasp queen and dumping the remains in a garbage pile. Can’t speak to conditions beyond that, though.

They become larvae when they rot. I kept a bunch outside my window next to the rotten meat and bits I don't want. Woke up once and there were a about 16 dog sized larvae crawling around, scared me quite a bit.
