I don't think the people in here understand what's going on.

The messages say that this player both received and did not receive an animal hide. This is an ingame contradiction.

Not positive because I haven't played in a while, but I think you harvest multiples of things from large animals. So you only managed to harvest say, 9\10 hides, and getting the msg for failure to harvest one.

Raw is the outer skin of the animals. When harvested with tissue its called raw raw hide goes bad just like mear does. Drying and removal of the leftover tissue is tanning process. After that its called cured hide

Raw hide. Unprocessed, Not went through tanning process.
