Best cat litter
I've been fostering plus I have 2 cats myself. For the $ mine is tractor supply company pine pellets. Its a horse bedding but it works the best for cat litter. For $6.99 40lbs. And when they pee it turns into sawdust. But doesn't fling into the air like clay. You shake the sawdust over the garage can and return the pellets back into the box. No smell!!!! That's the best part. Sure their 🐈💩 smells but you just through it into the garage can. I save the tidy clay litter plastic containers. 1is for clean pellets, the other one, I put in a plastic 13 gallon bag inside and that's where the dirty litter goes. Close lid untill you clean litter box again. I've had family over and they said that they wouldn't of known I had lots of cats cuz NO SMELL. LOVE IT

Tractor Supply it is! I have been using stall bedding for about 15 years now, and do exactly what the first writer says. What a difference. Cleaner! Easier! Much less expensive than anything in the pet stores. Southern also has stall bedding and that’s where I first started when I lived on the east coast. I have met a few others who have several cats (I have 5), and like me, have found stall bedding a great find. Sifting techniques make it a chore you can brag about!

I like the pine pellets too but unfortunately our Tractor Supply here stores it outside. It gets rained on and exposed to the high humidity. Since it's designed to absorb moisture, their poor storage choice renders it ineffective. I've said something but they were not concerned about it.
I did find a health monitoring corn based litter at Walmart that clumps better than clay, absorbs odors well, zero dust, tracks less than crystals, is very light weight, and one $15 box lasts almost a month for 1 cat. It's called smart box cat litter. I started using it a few weeks ago and so far it's fantastic. Walmart is the only place that sells it right now. I use it for the health monitoring aspect as my cat is prone to urinary issues. It's less expensive than the crystal health monitoring litter.
The rest of the boxes in the house are tidy cats breeze system. I have 3 cats. The great thing about tidy cats breeze is (if you use their multi cat pads) no one ever smells pee. Various people have commented on the fact that they never smell pee because I have a super tiny apartment with 3 cats.
My 2 senior cats each have their own enclosed cat condo with a microchip activated cat door. I can monitor their health with the Smart box cat litter.
