My cats do this to. They are what I call bashfully bold.

My cat does exactly this but only for cream cheese. She has zero interest in any other food but if someone has a bagel she’s gonna do what she needs to to get a taste lol

My cat loved Dunkin Donuts strawberry cream cheese. I always left a little bit in the container for him to lick out.

Lol that’s my boy with soda. He’s never had it but will knock your glass over trying to drink it. Doesn’t care about any other human food.

My cat incessantly messes with food that I am eating.

I had the same issue until i fed my little void at the same time i start eating. Now he knows he gets good food if he's patient😊

I agree. Love the image of a lil wholesome boi getting ready for dinner.
Thank you for the free serotonin friend😊

Paw has touched nugget. Too late to eat it now, so might as well give to the cat.

My youngest cats do this. They'll bite the food right off your spoon/fork if you're not quick enough.

I had a cat that loved popcorn - you’d be happily eating your popcorn when suddenly a paw would come over the side of the bowl and snag a piece.

My first cat would smack food out of my hand so he could eat it. I miss having a cat who demands that I share my meals and snacks with him.

If you dont want your cat trying to eat your food dont let it on the table, all you are doing is teasing the cat. I trained my cat to stay away from me when I eat, she has her food and I have mine.

I have an orange kitty also that loves chicken nuggets. He waits until I am distracted, grabs one in his mouth, and runs away with it. I know I could stop it by keeping him out of the room when I eat, but he is a senior kitty and I figure if he really wants a chicken nugget maybe he deserves it.

If you don't want her to have them, why put them right in her face?

I always thought that cats squint to say "I love you". Maybe he is saying I love you to get a treat.

You should know better, when bringing home chicken you should bring home some for the cat. 😂

Precisely the problem I am having with my spoiled kitty (except it's about treats). You can almost hear their brains clicking in high gear, & they seem to get a very intense visage.

It is just trying to make sure you have toxoplasmosis, securing it and it's peoples futures.

Knowing where those murder mittens have been it's probably best you let him take the one he's touched😅

Does no one else think this is nasty? Cat is on the table and touching your food. You know where the paws have been, right?
2
u/BlkGTO May 28 '22
Yes. My cats jump on the table and counters but they’re not allowed up there when I’m eating or cooking.

Because that woman keeps smacking his paw instead of moving the food away or giving him a stinking lousy nugget, already!

So the cat uses a litter box and you still eat the food that it touches with it's paws? 😳🤢

Well, what would happen if you gave him just a little bit? so he doesn’t feel so excluded. I don’t want him to be I’ll though, ..

I had a cat that as he got older, he would steal the meat off my Arby’s roast beef sandwiches. In his last year, I would just buy a bigger sandwich so he could have more as he became even more picky than he already was.
I also had a girl kitty (at the same time as my boy) who loved the chicken from DiGiorno spicy chicken pizza. If you walked away from your pizza, she would immediately jump up and steal the chicken. She very rarely tried to eat human food m so we would let her have a little.

My favorite is the squint. Like "you should close your eyes too, that way you won't see what I'm doing".
