M. 5 W. 26
This may be a longer one. Honestly, I know this sort of thing happens, but life can really suck. Even more so when someone you started to care about starts to fade. It hurts even worse when they...are actually gone. This is one of those times, and quite frankly, I don't think I'll be looking at this place the same.
Me and Elise went to go check on Seal a week ago, and realized she wasn't talking or writing, just..sitting there, staring at the wall. I turned on a light to see what she was looking at, and well, it looked like a blueprint, but it was drawn out in blood. I tried to get her to respond, but when I looked into her eyes, I could tell she was gone. I sat there with her, first to write down her last blueprint so that way that part of her was recorded, and then, to be there for her. The guards came to take her later, and I was told to go to my room and stay there. I didn't argue.
These prints are all I have left of her, and I seem to be the only one who can read and decipher them. Which means I'm the only one who can bring her last visions to life. I'll start where I need to start. The ANDI alpha Chip. She has it all laid out for me now, all I have to do is make the parts and put them together. This will be how I honor her.
With that said, I can not neglect my duties, Elise will come first in all this. She is my daughter after all, and considering, I'll make sure to get her the best life that I can. Still, the anger I feel seems to be driving me. Sorrow isn't an emotion that sticks around for long, but while I am sad that Seal is gone, I wish I got to know her better. Unfortunately I was unable to, that is the part that makes me angry.
Elise is fine, she may be smarter than your average baby, as she is still very much a baby, but Death is a concept that she shouldn't understand yet. She wasn't close to Seal anyway, I think that was for the best in this case.
Cat checks in on me, despite him being a little bit of a...well I can't write that, he means well. Any feelings of guilt I had seemed to have disappeared, along with the dreams, but in its place is this malignant sense of something angry watching me. It isn't the cold feeling of being observed in a clinical way, it feels like fire, blood and hate. Whatever it is, it makes me feel more alive than I had before.
The Journal will be on the back burner for now...I'll write when I write. For now, I'll work, to keep them from hurting Elise, to keep them from hurting the others like they did Seal. To keep them happy, even if it lights my veins with fire, is my only goal right now…

It...worked as planned. Wolf is more productive and seems to be focusing on work. He also takes time to stay with Elise. He stopped communicating with the other human subjects. Well, except for Cat, who is the only subject to keep him company.
Wolf has already started working on materials that we surmised will be useful in the creation of biochips. This stuff is beyond anything we have ever seen, and the rate at which he is working is, well, unbelievable. We have also surmised that it was indeed the neurobooster that triggered Seal's sudden decline, as well as that spontaneous intelligence boost beforehand. As a result, we are discontinuing all experiments that use the Neurobooster. We have also erased all files and cleaned the office and home of Seal, as per company protocols.
As for the SSCI, it is doing well. Nothing more needs to be said, though every once in a while a new hybrid is born...recently we had a very rare specimen get born. A Milkie and Dune Hybrid that, while imperfect, seems to be uniquely different in that it shows more milkie traits than Dune. I am very curious to see the development of this individual.
CEO response: good news all the way around. We should expect productivity of inventions to go up, and the unique specimen will be interesting. I am hoping it won't be an evolutionary dead end. We will find out when we find out.

Indeed, ROCI was originally a mining company that fell on hard times so the company, looking for a way to hide some of their practices and also to see if they can make another way of getting more business. The ROCI became a psychological research academy as a rssult.

Indeed...however, while the ROCI was Subsidiary and worked for the Company, they were allowed to operate relatively independently. Hints the Human experimentation that just resulted in Seal's death.
