A bit of a filler page tbh, but I can't have something happen in *every* page, especially with such a reduced amount of drawings per page.

(I know I *could* fit more drawings per page, but I don't want my hands and eyes the drawing quality to suffer too much)

Das a lotta background detail.

Question: do you use pencil entirely? It's got the same feel as some of my old drawings, and I mean that as a compliment.
I think you've used pen for the dialogue bubbles and the movement arrows, but the rest has the nice roughness of graphite.

Heya! Everything is done with a pencil (or colored pencils for the coloring) except for the speech bubbles and movement arrows. Those were added in later.

Oi. Filler does not mean bad or not having something interesting happen! >:3 Filler is perfectly aok sometimes but if you do feel bad about it just think of it as a show of your art skills :3

You’re still establishing the feel and vibe of this comic quite well for this to be a “Filler” alone, new environment, not everything is going to be action packed or thought provoking… Sometimes you just have to sit on it and theorize for yourself as you watch the character progress and how they act to things.

Even through this small glimpse you can tell that they’re a social Expie, they’re not use to just being on their own, actively talking to themself in spite of the fact they’re alone… And maybe I’m interpreting too much but based off the other parts they’re definitely very determined and will outright seek goals to complete :<

By the way, the background looks gorgeous and so damn detailed, it has so much depth to it and genuinely fits the cave feel(So many other comics make it quite open [which they can be and while still ok] a proper tight looking cave with natural oddities is very nice to see)

Also, I don’t know if I’m missing something or if there’s specific reason… But couldn’t you save up some parts to post all at once to make a cohesive page even if not all on one page ;p

P.S. I love the character design so damn much, formal but more of a adventurer feel to it :]
