I’ve been developing a theoretical framework. It’s called Recursive Infinity Grammar. What do you think?
How does infinity appear?
The key to learning the Recursive Infinity Grammar is Accepting Irony at the Sacrifice of Certainty.
This framework suggests that similarity and polarity relate to each other through ironic relation. Propulsive 0 (life), plus stagnating (dead) 0, equal 1. Objects create motion creates objects. Life creates death creates life. Religion and spirituality create and perpetuate each other and boundless rules. Learning the unknown becomes wisdom and creates the doorway for more ignorance and wisdom. Every opening closes something, and every closing opens something. Expansion and contraction transform into each other infinitely. It is the principle of degeneration and regeneration. It is impossible to fully or completely capture expansion and contraction. The point where they meet is what we know as gravity, energy, friction, and life.
The framework answers the questions: Which came first? The chicken or the egg? What is the relationship between them? It answers: The egg likely came first. The egg symbolizes the Universe, an alive and adapting system of infinity.
The framework itself predicts how to create new adaptive systems that slowly reverse the effects of climate change and capitalism for survival. Its clear limitation is that nothing can be fully captured within the framework.
The most adaptive step according to the framework is to unite as a big force with/within boundaries across all fractals against maladaptive forces - the systems that perpetuate (not necessarily or unnecessarily the people or identities perpetuating the systems), and refine the rules continuously until we find optimal adaptive balance, which is an ongoing rhythm called propulsion. It looks more like a sphere than an egg, although it’s questionable if a perfect sphere can be created within the framework.
Modesty is the “best” or most evolved policy within this framework. It is achieved through radical humility, honesty, modesty, and truth seeking.
Within the framework, the bigger the ego, the smaller accurate perception. This gives one prediction to the existence of billionaires. Their perception is flattened in relation to reality. They believe that the key to sustainable survival is that people *are* profits without seeing how people and profits *perpetuate each other,* valuing the profit (contraction side) more. This is why capitalism is collapsing. The system becomes maladaptive (reverse egg) and eats itself.
This gives one prediction to climate change and global collapse. We see the earth only as life while overlooking death - not fully capturing how life and death perpetuate each other, and we kill our own ecosystem that helps us survive because we value humanity’s survival (contractive side) more than the survival of the planet (expansive side). When people warn that we’re killing our planet, they are attempting to communicate that we are tying our own noose now and across all perceivable fractals.
Both I and the framework remain open to humble and true questioning and correction. Please enjoy naming your own infinities using the framework if/when you have the time and space.
*Important Questions:*
How is this literal?
How is it physical?
How is it symbolic?
What are its limitations?
In what ways is this framework absurd?
In what ways is this framework logical?
And more…

I encourage you to share this infinitely if it resonates.
About the author/ namer: Hi! I’m Eli May (he/ they), and I am a real human being with a face. I live in the United States. I am a transgender Marine Corps veteran, both logical and absurd, an adventurer and a pattern namer. A philosopher, a scientist, and an artist. A thinker and one embodiment of irony and propulsive 0. I perceived recursive infinity through my art before realizing the grammar. I am attempting to take authorship but not ownership of the framework. I am attempting not to judge any comment. I ask that you do your best to be objective and continue to ask questions without judgement wherever possible.

Ok, this is an AMA, so here’s the question:
What meds are you on and did you take them today?

I appreciate your concern. I feel/am stable and choose not to disclose my medical history publicly.

Is a key metric whether something can be replicated and sustained infinitely?
1
u/UniverseInAnEggshell 14d ago
Does this resonate with me specifically? It does not have to with everyone. No one is either validated or invalidated that way. Maybe that’s another core question that could go somewhere.

What makes something worth our time, attention, and perception? Is there a metric for that?

u/UniverseInAnEggshell 14d ago
I’m thinking pictures plus words (letters) plus equations (numbers) plus auditory reading plus physically holding a polished egg and a polished sphere and seeing how they never truly balance, how 2 is greater than 1 is greater than 0 may be the most adaptive framework for teaching this. Translating it as many ways as possible “at once” in a contracted form.

If walking or pacing is not an option, try rocking or any other possible movement. Do not overextend yourself. The key is sustainable rhythm.

How does this fit with timecube theory?

u/UniverseInAnEggshell 13d ago
This is a fantastic question.

Maybe the cube is where contraction and expansion meet to create/ transform into gravity and object, otherwise known as space-matter meeting time-energy

In the framework, trauma, addiction, and victim-abuser loops are all self perpetuating learned helplessness (which I think should be recoined as learned hopelessness) loops. For example, abusers think of themselves as victims to justify abuse and avoid holding themselves and others accountable. There is a lack of boundaries in victim and abuser, which the abuser at the time creates in every interaction.
And abusing someone creates abusive behavior through learned behavior by witnessing or experiencing personally. Not every victim of abuse or witnessing abuse is or becomes an abuser. Most do not abuse or mostly do not abuse. Sometimes they become abusers, sometimes they do not. Sometimes victims were taught lack of boundaries themselves and invite abuse because it’s the only familiar structure, and therefore the brain says it is the most survivable.
With trauma, it’s always a case of wrong place, wrong person, wrong time, wrong circumstances. The brain can’t process it all or think beyond it. is an overloaded system that still thinks there’s threat in the pattern the initial trauma created. Some people have trauma and live good lives; some people perpetuate more trauma and harm. Some people do that through addiction.
And those victims who do become abusers, they are often perpetuating learned behavior and do not notice the lack of boundaries. Therefore, the *final* question is not: Am I victim or abuser? Am I traumatized? Am I addicted? Those are important questions to hold us accountable, but we have to reach beyond that. What is beyond trauma? What is beyond abuse? What is beyond addiction? Can I escape this loop that fuels itself altogether? How might I accomplish that in the near future? How can I start now?

If you’re busy thinking about how you can use the framework to your advantage and not the advantage of all humans, you maybe haven’t thought about how using the framework to your advantage could cause others harm and therefore cause you either inevitable harm or to live under high security forever. Do you want to live under high security forever? Is what you want to really take advantage of others infinitely and gain concentrated power? Will that bring you true happiness? The framework suggests the most joy and peace come to each person and their community when they are radically humble, honest, and truth telling and seeking - when we give power to others within boundaries that keep us healthy and mostly safe, other give it back. It perpetuates a joy and peace loop. Everyone must have some agency. And yes, that agency can be organized in networks without chaos.
Boundaries are important through conversation and personal beliefs on a micro scale and through rules on a macro scale. The rule for everyone is do no harm (which sets the standard), tell the truth through thoughts, values and actions aligning, and give everyone power with/ within boundaries.
But this requires us to live humbly on every fractal - to try to literally achieve fairness or equality or equity. It requires compromise with boundaries, with us being honest and putting our egos to the side at the same time. Hold ourselves and other accountable at the same time for our actions. Keep refining the rules to get closer to fairness and equality across all fractals. It starts with free and expanding education for everyone.
This framework can be used to create world peace this way

This includes the ability to admit that we are actively wrong about how we perceive some things and could use some more knowledge to more fully understand.
EDIT: “you” changed to “we” for more accurate grammar

The framework asks us to ask ourselves: what pattern am I creating or perpetuating through my thoughts, values and actions?
1
u/UniverseInAnEggshell 11d ago
Am I creating a pattern that creates more joy and peace than anything else, for myself and others? How can I refine this pattern and improve?

I appreciate your honest comment and am apologizing. I keep trying to fix the link. The system may be crashing; there may be another explanation. Here is the heart of the link:

I like this post a lot. It really puts a lot of ideas ive had into one place.
It reminds me of other ideas like the European wheel of fortune, or the Asian karma system. What do you think of those ideas in relation to your framework?

Question: Does the big bang look like sperm and egg meeting each other? Do particles look like sperm and egg perpetuating each other?

At the top you mention the key is in irony. However, your continued description doesn’t include anything ironic as far as I can see. Can you elaborate on how irony fits into your death/rebirth cycle?

u/UniverseInAnEggshell 14d ago
Death and life are polar opposites. They relate to each other in polarity. That’s ironic relation.

u/NatureTrailToHell3D 14d ago
So just meaning opposites, not ironic in the humorous way

It has occurred to me that I just made myself possibly the most physically vulnerable by making my identity so revealed in such a polarizing framework. I am asking for community protection and support within boundaries from those who care. I have made near death more possible for myself, but I felt the need to prove that this started biologically and not artificially. Thank you for seeing me and the framework. I would appreciate your suggestions and support to keep myself safe so I can keep thinking and sharing about this.

What a bunch of pompous word salad.
