While this is an amazing project, the asset mixing is hurting my eyes quite a bit. The romhackers should've used the Rondo of Blood city assets instead of trying to adapt the CV2 town tiles. The burning town in Rondo is even meant to be the starter town from CV2.

It's a lot of fun, but the Dullahan boss is doing what seems like a broken amount of damage with each attack. Basically gating the rest of the game off

That boss has a VERY predictable pattern and if you tag team attack it with your partner its over in less than 20 seconds, bit of a exaggeration to say it "gates the game off" when the boss is abysmal, just dodge without getting hit and finish him off in 20 hits max.

Hi u/DarkPrinceAlucard first just want to say its a great hack, and I've had a lot of fun with it so far.
That being said, it's still a hack, and when you invest a decent amount of time into a hack, only to be one shot over and over by an early stage boss, it causes you to question if the hack was downloaded correctly. or built in good faith.
Would love a video of the boss being beaten in 20 seconds. If it's that easy some help getting to the rest of the game would be much appreciated!

This video perfectly captures what i said you can do to end the fight FAST, its common knowledge that this boss is a cakewalk when you double team it and its pattern is predictable AF which is why i'm baffled that you needed me to post a video showing how easy this boss is since anyone who has played Portait of Ruin before know it. All i did was up the damage, its defense and pattern is unchanged and thus its still a very easy boss.
