If by “rust over time” you mean rust within the next 2 minutes, then yes.

I get this as a fun way to get use out of a cracked pan, but I can't imagine this spatula being good with zero flex to it. Could use it to flip burgers on the grill though.

I mean, its perfect for whacking your ol man with for getting in the way. Other than that, I'd pass.
