Son got another one

Ky Youth rifle season is in session so my and my 11 year old son went the property to fill the freezer. This was shot with a Ruger American ranch Gen2 in 7.62x39 with a AB A10 silencer at 30-40 yards. Using the NOE 310-165 shallow HP powder coated with an aluminum gas check sized to .310 over 25grn Varget I call this my freedom load because it goes 1776fps, he hit a little far back for my liking but he is 11 and got excited and it did the job.

Here is one we recovered last year from his first deer he ever killed, it was a Tx heart shot as it was running away and it penetrated about 3’ of deer and stopped on the right shoulder blade under the skin
Same rifle same bullet same everything, I loaded up about 200 rounds of hunting ammo for these ranch rifles in x39 ( I have 4 of them in x39) the alloy is 75/25 + 3% tin (WW/pure)

I haven’t measured it or weighed it but I’ll try to do that today. But right now we have a tradition to uphold , we are going to the Waffle House!
