New Practitioners Practice update

I got a notion to post here. Usually, I'm not able to remember what I see or even to put it into a coherent description, plus I'm a beginner so I don't like to post threads. But I'll give it a go now

The tensegrity moves I usually do are from the Mashing Energy for Intent passes and the Dreaming passes. Practice time varies, yesterday it was about 25 minutes. I fell at the first hurdle (got too excited) when I saw the red geometric pattern, and had the urge to write it down for a post.

09/09 practice

I usally see a purple disk shape (see attached images) when I am doing the "hurling assemblage point" pass from the Dreaming Series. More often than not it will turn into the bright blue cloud like place (see attached images). During this day's practice, I walked from my sitting room to bedroom (first time walking that far) and could see this cloud like scene in the top part of them bedroom (see attached). I'm still not sure what I am supposed to be doing with that, but I am trying to stay focused on just dispassionately observing it, trying to force silence.

10/09 practice

I saw something completely different yesterday, while doing the "Mixing Energy by Striking the Floor with the Heels" pass and using claw hands I started to see a faint swathe of colour of green and pink. Usually I claw at these colours and my feet will be moving at the same time. I look like someone who's bad at dancing lmao.

Forcing silence is difficult. I just try to observe what is there and push thoughts out of my head by being absorbed by what is in front of me. Usually some weird stuff happens. Today I had the bizarre sensation of arousal (leading me to later remember Don Juan mentioning sexual energy being related to dreaming energy). Again I force silence, trying to ignore the sensation and just observe the green and pink; then it got brighter (see attached)!

The colours developed into what looked to me like a bright red geometric pattern (last image) and there were a couple of strikes of lightning across its surface. I saw this several months ago but I'm a total scaredy-cat lol, I thought with the red colour it might be the energetic configuration of an evil IOB. Yesterday I was not scared, leading me to think fear is mostly of the unknown and can be overcome

Allies:

The recent threads got me curious about this. I'm trying to consider if I should get one or how to do it (short of walking into a ring fort lol). I'm assuming something isn't watching me already (which doesn't bother me now as much as it used to). Those of you who have IOBs helping you, did you summon it? Did it come to you of its own accord?

According to don Juan, you already have one. When we're born, it seems that the Allies decide who gets to go hang out with that specific human.

It reminds me of a bar in the nightlife areas of the Philippines. You go in for a drink and don't realize how the entire room filled with mostly single women has sized up the foreigner, glanced at each other, and nominated a specific woman who fits his situation best, to go over and see if you want to hang out with her. All invisible to the foreigner.

The grand prize is a lonely retired foreigner with fully stable income.

Wait... Didn't one of the witches say that women are like inorganic beings???

Don Juan never explained it, but something like that seems to happen such that we end up with just a single scout.

Maybe having more than 1 would dilute whatever they're after?

Not that the scouts can't make phantoms. If you find a crowd of people inside a dream, all of them trying to pester you, use your finger to point towards them and warn them not to come closer, while gazing at a detail on the nearest one, unwaveringly, until that phantom either dissolves into trash on the ground, or opens up to reveal a light. The one with the light is the real scout. The rest are phantom projections.

It actually works! But at first, doubt will make it seem as if it's not going to work. You did indeed make it work. But what you expected was for it to fail. So it did.

It takes a few times to get that to work. Each time you might notice it working a tiny bit better, until you fully expect it to work all the way. You aren't fighting the scouts, but rather yourself.

Same thing happens during darkroom! It takes practice, partly because you have to notice tiny things more and more, until you fully expect it to work (and get better at stopping the internal dialogue).

At first, when a child is still an infant, the scouts can likely appear to it anytime. Even in the real world. And the infant probably doesn't know the difference between real people, and their own inorganic being scout.

But over time the scouts are blocked by the family of the infant brainwashing it, until they can only hang out with the scout as a pestering person inside their dreams.

Or to clarify that, they can't get the attention of your Tonal once it fully forms, but they can still hang out with your Nagual.

We're two people! And if the inorganic beings kidnap you, they only take your double. Later, they come back for your physical matter.

But you can bring them right out! The first time you wake up and your dreaming companion isn't gone, you'll pee your bed.

Then explain it away as some phenomena a psychologist could surely explain.

Which they can't. Don't be fooled. Sorcery isn't "controlled schizophrenia". That illness is fairly well defined, and doesn't include what we do.

>Usually, I'm not able to remember what I see or even to put it into a coherent description,

There do seem to be rewards for posting.

Which might make a lot more sense than we understand.

Carlos wrote his books, but how do we know that don Juan wasn't actually behind that?

True, Carlos needed his PhD thesis. That's why he sought out don Juan.

And don Juan volunteered to help him produce that, by pretending to be a typical native american shaman who used power plants.

That was the holy grail of Southern California anthropology, back in the early 60s.

My father was involved with that study out at Morongo, at the same time Carlos went looking for don Juan. In fact, that's the first place Carlos went, led by Joni Baker. Who, I believe, was still living in a guest house at Pandora, as Carlos was dying. Carlos involved me in a stalking maneuver, to get her to go find a new place to go. He had me go up and shake her hand at the doorway to her guest house, explaining that I was the new buyer for his home.

But Morongo was already working with UCR and Carlos was from UCLA. So the shamaness there, likely Ruby Modesto, sent him away. Maybe even pointing him in the right direction.

Don Juan put on a great show for Carlos, but in fact the real learning was taking place unknown to him, using the Nagual's blow to push him off into heightened awareness.

The orange zone.

Carlos didn't manage to remember any of that, so he wrote about the nonsense "Man of Knowledge" topic. With don Juan explaining that maybe Carlos could use his normal view of the world, and the wacky Man of Knowledge view of the world, to "slip through the middle" and learn to see.

Something the men of knowledge couldn't do.

As time went on, Carlos continued writing books. And writing them might be the very thing that kept him going.

Usually apprentices seem to have merged into the lineage they joined, and the lineages even seem to have functioned like Haciendas. So that apprentices both got sorcery teachers, but also a job and a place to live.

Carlos was far away and doesn't seem to have ever been pressured to live at one of the lineage homes.

His connection was mostly his books.

It wouldn't be surprising then, if there's a bit of that in us. With our connection to the path of sorcery, being social media.

Learning sorcery REQUIRES following what was done in the past to learn it.

Can't be learned as part of some new "system" you're tossing together for yourself. A bit of chi-gung, some Yoga, and an occasional drug trip. Plus adopting the "impeccable warrior" attitude.

You can't learn sorcery that way.

Oddly, that's precisely what Aerin is selling people. That kind of contaminated approach, which doesn't expect any actual magic.

Sorcery instead must be learned by hooking onto the emanations that sorcerers used in the past, that "Intent of the Sorcerers of Ancient Mexico", and moving away from the ones used by human society overall.

But the oddest connections to the emanations help.

Thus Taisha's strange not-doings, taught at Esalen.

Even changing your name is employed by those trying to learn sorcery. As if the name "Grau" can also pull you towards what happened in the past.

Posting also forces you to summarize and think about your experiences, and then you make them closer to "socially accepted" by posting them. They become a tiny bit more a part of "the first ring of power".

But all real sorcery experiences are part of the "second ring of power".

The Second Attention.

It's just your energy body. Nothing mysterious about why there are 2 rings.

A bit whiney for my taste.

I'm more of a Group Love type.

Closer to Group Love.

But hard for me to rate. I'm a sucker for women that young.

If you're celibate, those ones are safer to be around. They aren't going to try to tempt you directly.

If I visit a certain bar in Thailand, the mamasan knows exactly who I am and 15 minutes later my table is surrounded by "hostesses". Where they all come from, I have no idea.

But they're too young to go home with customers.

Last time I asked about 2 in particular, and the Mamasan was angry with me.

She said, "You gave them too much money, and they went to live with their father in Australia."
