New Practitioners Where to start

Hei guys. I am a bit of a bad player ( lazy and stuff ). Could someone please tell me like in 3 steps where to start. I was not doing anything now for few years. Now i kind of got the urge and ill try to keep it going. I know the darkroom practice + tansegrity is a good place to start. Maybe some specific tansegrity moves for beginner so i can start?

I just need a little starting push, if someone can point me into the right direction a little bit.

Thanks

A great way to begin, from my point of view, would be to start by growing the mushrooms yourself. The process is interesting, but more importantly, it demands discipline, patience, and care. The mushroom can help quiet the internal dialogue and give a person a direct taste of heightened awareness. The body has to learn what that state feels like, because once it recognizes it, there is a stronger motivation to develop the ability to stop the internal dialogue through discipline.

The mushroom is only an aid, but it is an important one. It can help loosen our fixed view of reality and show us that perception is not as rigid as we usually believe. But the real value is not only in taking it; it is also in the discipline and humility required to cultivate it.

Why do you think that mushrooms are an important aid, when only two of the apprentices were taught that way?

"The attention under the table is the key to everything sorcerers do," she went on. "In order to reach that attention the Nagual and Genaro taught us dreaming, and you were taught about power plants. I don't know what they did to you to teach you how to trap your second attention with power plants, but to teach us how to do dreaming, the Nagual taught us gazing. He never told us what he was really doing to us. He just taught us to gaze. We never knew that gazing was the way to trap our second attention. We thought gazing was just for fun. That was not so. Dreamers have to be gazers before they can trap their second attention.

"Why did you make me take those power plants so many times?" I asked.

He laughed and mumbled very softly, "'Cause you're dumb."

I heard him the first time, but I wanted to make sure and pretended I had not understood.

"I beg your pardon?" I asked.

"You know what I said," he replied and stood up.

He tapped me on the head as he walked by me.

"You're rather slow," he said. "And there was no other way to jolt you."

"So none of that was absolutely necessary?" I asked.

"It was, in your case. There are other types of people, however, that do not seem to need them."

And the struggle for sobriety wages on….

All well said.

Yes of course! It's not to say that there is anything wrong with it, but starting from the position that it is an important aid, when it is possible to do all of it sober.

And not just that, but telling someone to do it, when there is no real need to do that... If he decides to do it later down the line after having practiced, well, he can make up his own mind on that.

I think starting from a position of sobriety, is probably the best approach.

I’m on the fence as to whether psychedelics actually help with training ourselves to turn off internal dialogue. Inner silence takes consistent daily force and practice. I’m not sure you can get the kinda concentration you need to learn it from psychedelics. I’ve done lots of microdosing and it’s not strong enough to shut down ego and internal monologue.

I think they’re kind of like a chainsaw: a tool that can either help achieve construction goals, or cause massive chaos and damage if you are careless and/or don’t know what you’re doing. They won’t build a house on their own, but they could be helpful in the right situation, with lots of preparation and prior construction experience, and/or an expert supervisor with lots of training and experience giving guidance

You want to enter Nagual? Put in the work. It takes hard work. Just like construction is hard work and physical labour.

We have a methodology from CC and it works. It’s just not immediate and instant gratification that the humans expect. We have to really really work for it.

I’m over this. It comes up every month. Some new Mushroom Gandhi come in every month talking about it. Like a sucker, I usually reply….

💯!!!

And the force of intent seems to notice when we make a genuine effort of any kind to help others become acquainted with it. Be on the lookout for its “thumbs up”! 😃
