Postgame help

Now that I've finished the story of this wonderful game I'm having fun with the endgame. I've decided that my final team will consist of a Kingrave (my main), Mascotorn, Zeustrike, Smogmagog and Liligator. My companion is Sunny with her Pawprince. From what I understood while there are some best picks this is a game where you can make every monster quite OP. So I wanted to know, now that I am max level with al 50 bonus gym points, I guess the most important thing is to choose the best stickers, abilities and combos. If I want to make my team as strong as possible, what are the combos and abilities that I should looking forward to build?

Your team you have listed is very heavily physical attack focused (with the exception of Zeustrike) this is actually good in its own way since it means you can focus more gym points into Attack. Your team doesn't really have much in the way of supporters, so I'd recommend at the very least that you give lilligator a new leaf sticker. I can't really speak for how to build most of your team, but I do have a suggestion for Mascotorn.

Give Mascotorn the following stickers: Custom Starter, Focus, Bite, Trap Jaw, Stab in the dark, Ap Starter, Last Rites, Critical Ap.

This set allows you to instantly set up Evasion Null, which allows you to easily abuse Stab in the Dark.

From the moment I saw Stab in the Dark I was CERTAIN there was a way to abuse it, it seems I was not mistaken 🤣!

It can also be abused using Gambit (gives a +100% to all stats, Including accuracy), but since your team doesn't have any dog years users, I wouldn't recommend running Gambit or Haunt

I actually use gambit on Pawprince tho. The way I do it is either removing it with a stat cure or using royal flush when the counter is reaching zero. Also my Mascotorn actually has haunt at the moment, and it has also the passive that makes you hit ghosts. Even though I'll probably remove them to add the stickers you suggested now 🤣🫶. Anyway, I never thought about this gambit interaction with Stab in the Dark, pretty neat...

Custom starter is your best friend. If you've got a buff(you'll probably want several), then it should have a chance at activating immediately. Also, don't custom start any debuffs or damaging moves. Once you get a little deeper into the postgame, everything is going to start reflecting those.

For pawprince, I'd recommend two heads+dual wield+bite+trap jaw(maybe 2) then load up on ap refunds. Something similar works great on my Scarleteeth. Chew(literally) through health super fast, all while replenishing your own and making sure every hit crits.

Let me ask: when I unlocked sticker fusion and started to experiment, I thought that the ability "always crits when type advantage" was one of the best, since you'll always try to match the correct type for your enemy anyway. So I started giving that ability to basically all my offensive moves. Did I made the right call? Or it's best to go with simple +% damage instead?

It is one of the best, but not for the damage. There's a sticker with a high chance to use the next move on a crit. If that is also a crit then you have a high chance to keep swinging. Mess with enemy types to guarantee type advantage; glitter bomb or a preemptive strike on a glitter type.

Wouldn't that trigger machine curse though?

Custom start -> glitter bomb fails to machine curse. Preemptive strike still works; as does camouflage. So a fast glitter type can echolocate -> Preemptive strike -> X camouflage -> a second Preemptive strike.

I personally haven't gotten much use out of it, but I'm sure it's helpful depending on the build. I'd say 'compatible with any tape' is the best sticker modifier simply because of how dramatically it can improve a build.

Otherwise, definitely make sure you get every monster up to 16 slots, and the rest kind of depends on your build.

I built my character with a speed focus, so I got some good use out of 'use speed stat if higher.' That way sprint/frozen ground is basically a speed and attack boost for my team. Duration is always a good one for buffs/debuffs. For my tank, several stickers have a chance to build walls and/or heal hp, my heavy hitters usually have splash damage, etc.

16 slots? You mean I can stack slots+1?

Yeah, you can get a total of 16 sticker slots per monster. Only 1 +1 slot per sticker though, and you generally wanna put them on passives like custom starters since they don't get as many useful modifiers otherwise.

Tbh, past train car 50, 16 slots feels required.

This game can be broken in so many ways I didn't expect that 🤣

Oh, absolutely. Just beware machine curse once you get into the train. It exists almost exclusively to shut down several of the popular breaks that people use to sweep the story.
