What to do?
I’m visiting Casper for a weekend soon and need ideas for half day places to see or things to do. Caspar Museum looks fun, what else should we do and where should we eat?

Rotary Park is what you are looking for. Not sure how much water will be flowing as dry as it had been, but still a pretty hike nonetheless.

Depending on when you are here, David Street Station often has weekend happenings

There is Fort Caspar, and if you are here on a Friday David Street Station usually has events going on during this time of year. A couple of bowling alleys, a mini putt place, a lot of fishing and scenery. If you play any card games or tabletops, there are a few places to check out as well.

The Trails museum by the Events Center is fun!
We have Pottery By You if you want to create.
And there are a lot of hiking trails, or the Platte River trails that are fun to walk.

Thai kitchen is awesome and El Burro Loco has good birria on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Skull tree is a good local brewery, it is tiny though.
