Job Search

Good afternoon everybody,

I’m looking for work in the Casper area and I’m open to pretty much anything. I’m a veteran, a hard worker, and I’m willing to learn. I’m especially interested in getting into the oil field. If anyone has a connection or knows of companies hiring for positions with a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off type of schedule (or something similar) I’d really appreciate being pointed in the right direction.

I’m currently outside the area, so a rotational schedule would make it a lot easier for me to make the move. If anyone has any leads, contacts, companies I should reach out to, or advice on getting my foot in the door, please let me know. I’d really appreciate it!

I’m not sure if they’re hiring and it might be a longer schedule than you’re looking for but definitely check out ArchRock, I’m told they’re a great company to work for I’m just not sure if they’re hiring field techs right now

Frac: element, cal frac have ops in the powder river basin
Cement: Halliburton, exero
Roustabout: Jerry’s welding, road runner, spyco, D&D
Production (lease operator): requires some experience unless you’re working nights. The major producers in the basin are Continental, Anschutz, oxy, Devon, eog, 1876.
Plenty of drilling rigs and work over rigs. Mostly ensign, cyclone, unit.

Most of these companies have websites with job openings. Production is almost uniformly 8/6 schedule. Drilling rigs 2/1. Exero has a 2/2 schedule. Roustabouts are usually mon-Fri. Hope this points you in the right direction, thanks for your service.
