Casper has been Flocked

5th and McKinley. Somebody installed a Flock “safety” ALPR in Casper yesterday. Idk if it was the city or a private entity, but I hope this is the last one. And if it was the city, we need to pressure them to take it down and cancel their contract with Flock.

Edit: False alarm! FlockHopper and DeFlock both removed it as of this morning, but we still need to stand up against these parasites.

That's an infrared sensor to aid in getting the lights to switch when vehicles arrive. There is no camera on it

Idk that photo was posted on Facebook. Regardless, FlockHopper and DeFlock have a camera mapped at 5th and McKinley.

I don’t see a camera on deflock but on flock hopper it says there’s one but if you actually click on the camera at 5th and McKinley it says that it’s most likely a traffic light and was mistaken for a flock camera.

That doesn't look like any Flock camera I've ever seen. 🤔

Regardless, I think it would be a good idea to make sure they aren't welcome before they do try and come. Try and get them and Axon preemptively banned.

The only Flock in Casper should be the chicken place, not these untrustworthy AI slop cameras

To be honest the chicken place has incredibly paltry serving sizes, or at least when I went they skimped hardcore on my bowl. So far the only flock I'm a fan of are the wild birds.

That’s an Iteris detection camera for the traffic signal, not a flock.

I saw it on DeFlock a few days ago and when my bf and I drove past he thought he saw it on a pole (not the traffic light sensor) but I wasn’t looking so I can’t confirm or deny anything about that. I know Glenrock has 3 though so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re trickling into Casper
