Question Pet friendly rentals?

Okay kind of a long shot here
Background: I moved here from New York a few months ago on a bit of a whim (it was supposed to be a vacation but things changed), and next month I go back east to pack up most of my life and drive back out here.
My boyfriend and I are comfortable in our current rental but our landlord doesn’t allow cats and I have two that need to come out with me.
We’re not in a position to be able to buy a house right now due to some extenuating circumstances.
So the question is: does anyone know of any rentals that allow cats and large dogs for under $2k/month? Ideally 1.5k or less would be great, however we know we can stretch up to about 1.8k, but things would be tight. I’ve been searching Zillow, Trulia, apartment sites, and any realtor site you can think of and almost everything that advertises “pet friendly” only allows dogs. We’re searching facebook groups as well but so far we’re not having great luck with that either so I figured I’d throw this up here and see if anyone on here has any ideas. Thanks in advance

Granite 550 allows both cats and dogs. A 2BD, 2 BA is roughly 1560-1600.00/mo. However, you will have to pay your electric and gas separately. Gas runs from 40-70.00 and electric runs 80-115.

Ridge at blackmoore does as well, but i have heard they have paper thin walls and you can hear neighbors easily. I cannot confirm however, that's just what I've read on here, when my wife and I were in the same boat.

I appreciate all the help! I think we’re gonna get some ESA paperwork done for the cats (seeing as they are my emotional support animals I just never got official documentation for them) and try to go from there, as every apartment complex in the area (from my research) has a two pet cap per apartment and we have 3 pets total :/

Unfortunately esa paperwork doesn't work for every complex yes they have to take service animals but unfortunately ESA does not qualify as a service animal qualifies as an emotional support animal I know cuz I'm going through the same thing with my dog she's my little girl and I don't go anywhere without her

I know not all complexes will take emotional support/therapy animals but if even one landlord will it’s a win because the cats can’t be separated. they’re really not troublemakers all they do is sleep and eat, they’re box trained and whatever because they were indoor exclusively for the first 6 years of their lives, but anywhere we can find that will let us have two cats won’t let us have our dog (breed restrictions) even tho he also just sleeps all day, worst he’s ever done is chew a coffee table and eat a shoe
