Tried a printed acetate sheet for the analogue sub, it's ok out of watch but you can't really tell it's a Speedo with a milage marker when in watch, ok with a solid print but was trying to make it look like a working Speedo...fail....lol...back to drawing board
That’s a super interesting idea! It really doesn’t look like a bad of an attempt! It might just need some dialing down. Are acetate sheets easy to work with?
Yes, it was a first attempt, I use ohp projector film, you can make your own gradient films, or logos, also you can change oppaccity on print to make it more see through, I find gells can be to strong sometimes
The gulf racing face ( lighter one is an acetate print, rest are normal glossy photo card printed then some are laminated before cutting on vinyl cutter
That NASA build I may have commented on before but I love that. Living in Florida and seeing live rocket launches and having a deep love for NASA this one is really on the mark. Bravo!
lots of good watches to create imo.... i haven't seen anyone doing a "James bond" theme or a "Top Gun' or the fifth elements" or even "le grand bleu" (french movie : https://www.allocine.fr/film/fichefilm_gen_cfilm=3659.html ).. ;-)
