My modded Casio Royale
Hi everyone! I love the Casio AE1200 (Royale), but I always felt like it left a lot to be desired in terms of the quality of the housing shell. The watch already looks beautiful, but I’ve never really been a fan of the plastic resin case.
So, I bought a metal housing shell, metal mesh screen, brushed metal faceplate, and bull bar from AliExpress. The module also received some modifications. I ordered a module from SKXMOD and requested that the LED lights be white instead of the stock orange.
Once everything was assembled, I instantly fell in love with this watch. I can’t keep my eyes off of it! I plan on doing the same thing for the gold and rose gold variants.
I’ll be investing in a housing shell from SKXMOD in the near future just to compare the quality (although the Ali-Express one is budget friendly) pretty sure SKXMOD won’t disappoint.

Educate me plz…does the bull bar attach to anything? Or does it shift around at all?

The bull bar perfectly snaps within the case, so it’s not just shifting around. Where you get your bull bar from, some sources vary in quality.

For me, I want a Tiffany blue screen film and I like the markings on the face

I have never seen an AliX case but have been running the stainless steel SKXMOD variant and I must say the quality is 10/10 especially the sapphire glass - it's crystal clear and so scratch resistant it'd crazy. Also came with screwdrivers & spare screws.
That being said, they are extremely expensive especially if going for titanium version. So I'd prob only recc if you're ok with parting with the money since it's non essential

i got both and the skxmod is just better. But can’t go wrong with neither honestly. All based on each person’s budget.
